Bear, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who provides expert surgical care for a variety of general orthopedic conditions, with particular interest in surgery of the hand. Whether he is treating a sports-related injury, a repetitive stress condition or an osteoporosis-related fracture, Dr. Bear partners with his patients to develop customized solutions that will get them back to actively living the life they love. A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Bear is committed to making a difference in his patients’ lives through expert, compassionate care.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Kao believes it is important for patients to understand all the treatment options available, and he helps patients choose options that will work best for their individual circumstances.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Friedrich truly believes that the relationship between patient and surgeon is one in which everyone is an equal participant. He strives to present all viable options to patients and help them decide which is best, and to be each patient's steadfast partner throughout the entirety of the treatment course, no matter the duration.

Biography: <p>Mathew Nicholls, MD, PhD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in conditions of the hip, knee and shoulder as well as fractures.</p> _x000D_ <p>Dr. Nicholls enjoys the opportunity to make someone's life better and help them achieve their mobility goals though both surgical and non-surgical interventions. His goals are to increase motion and function, and eliminate pain. He is often inspired by his patients' drive to heal and to return to their active lifestyles.</p> _x000D_ <p>Dr. Nicholls is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.</p> _x000D_ <p>Away from work, Dr. Nicholls enjoys mountaineering/climbing, skiing, scuba diving and traveling.</p>
